    Agree together.

    Both people review the same terms: what each person will give or do, timing, a safe meeting place, and what completion means. Each person must explicitly accept. Changes need agreement again.

    Follow through.

    After the exchange, each person confirms their own part is complete. An exchange is finished only when both people confirm. If something changes, pause and talk it through.
